PIMARICIN/NATAMICINE is both economical and effective since smaller quantities are needed than of potassium sorbate. In addition, unlike other sorbates, it prevents yeasts and moulds from penetrating into the inside of the product, thereby eliminating the cost of further applications. The activity of PIMARICIN does not destroy other germs, and thus does not interfere with the natural maturation process of food products.
Safe and effective, it protects many food products from the deterioration caused by moulds, yeasts and other fungal growths, and prevents them from forming on the surface.
Unlike other antimicrobial agents, PIMARICIN does not affect the appearance, taste or colour of products.
